Randi Madonik Skurka is a writer of poetry, fiction and nonfiction, and a speaker represented by the Association of Canadian Jewish Studies Speakers’ Bureau. After completing an MA in Jewish Studies, she began to write about her family history while enrolled at the Humber School for Writers. She recently coauthored The Hardware: Leadership Tools and Tales with CEO Mike Cloutier - a business fable for our times. Her pieces exploring antisemitism, Jewish identity, Israel and the forces shaping Jewish life have appeared in Canadian and international media.

She is a long-time advocate for education to counter antisemitism, and a champion of ritual gender equality in her synagogue. She lives in Toronto, practises yoga and likes to draw, play piano, swim in lakes and oceans, cook and spend time with her family.
